The focus will be on the basics of laboratory sterilization, particularly steam sterilization, and the requirements of DIN 58951-2:2018-01. In addition to the most important procedures, typical challenges and sources of errors when sterilizing various materials will be illustrated through practical examples. Participants will also learn about occupational safety, accident prevention, and autoclave maintenance to ensure safe and standard-compliant operation.
